This summer is slowly passing away, and in Minneapolis, it's been nothing but humidity and showers as of late (which btw is perfect weather by me). By the end of the week, I will be on my way home, on my way to see Lauren, and on my way to Chicago and Great America.
Nothing interesting to write, as the Sox/Cubs series was on WGN Fri-Sun, and I was unable to watch just 1 inning of a great series.....UG, having WGN is great, but when I'm not home to watch it, it's like that tree falling over in the woods.
In a month and a half I will move to my 7th move since August of 2000, and this is the happiest I have been since moving to Mpls the first time. I got my parking situation settled so I won't have to worry about riding the bus to campus, and that makes me happy that I can leave on my own time, and not worry about schedules. Sometime in the next month or so I will sit and figure out how I can fit in work, workout times, and studying around my class schedule. One thing I will not have to worry about for the first semester since I've been here is taking a night class, which will be refreshing.
Right now I am just trying to get everything I need to get done for my trip home- cleaning my room, getting laundry ready to do for free at home, working on my budget for the month, etc. I have two road games this week (Eau Claire, WI and White Bear Township), and a shift Wednesday. I also took my car in to get looked at. There is a grinding sound while I accelerate while in gear. I am hoping that it's a quick fix, because I really don't want to have to deal with a rental vehicle, and all that hassle. I just want to go and have fun with Lauren, my family, and relax.
Until next time, take care.

Have a safe trip. At least you are getting some rain up there, all we get is teased. Hope your car is not a big thing and is resolved quickly.
