It's a great thing when not only am I late for work because I overslept, but the ESPNews channel was on when I awoke only to at that point show Mark Prior get rubber-necked not once but twice by home runs (a grand slam and a 3-run shot disrespectfully).
I, SJS, solemly comfirm as of this date, May 1, 2005, that the Cubs are officially done. Everyone, "Wait 'Til Next Year." Finally, now we know it's over in May, and I don't have to worry about dragging my heart out through a sub-par season. I can now just watch and hope they don't get creamed day in and day out.
Another good weekend coming to a close, and that much closer to finals makes me a happy camper. I've documented my upcoming events already, I guess that's pretty much it.
